Here’s a quick fix: Write all your important contact numbers down on a business card or piece of paper and store it with your emergency phone. Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone you don’t know their number by heart.
Here’s the deal. In times of trouble, stuff happens fast and you don’t have time to think. Adrenaline can do that to you. That’s why it’s easier to just have information at your fingertips and not have to rely on your “tech” to pull up a phone number for you.
Also, store your emergency phone in the same place like you do your car keys (I hope). You don’t want to be in a situation where you can’t find your phone. It’s never a good idea to be saying to yourself: “I know it’s around here somewhere.”
