Your Survival Guy’s latest RAGE Gauge is in, and it’s not pretty. What did you expect me to say? The coast is clear, the supply chain isn’t rusty? I’m Your Survival Guy, not the president. But here’s the deal. With Covid soon to be a distant memory and Biden’s presidency cooked, that should be good news, right? Not so fast. Because if there’s no “excuse” to pump trillions of dollars of “free” money into the economy because of some political virus and Biden can only get a pared down “spending” package passed, we’re left with what Your Survival Guy calls a scorched earth economy.
Trillions more in Covid rescue money is not going to resuscitate small businesses, most of whom used the Covid cash to feed their own families. The Covid cash was basically the government saying: “Here’s what your business is worth—all your built-up equity—take the check and leave.” Small businesses were bulldozed into a scorched earth economy. They’re GONE.
And Biden’s pared back spending plan, if he can pass one, will take years to build bridges to nowhere. That cash, whatever it ends up being, will be used for more of the same: NOTHING productive. Poof. Gone. No real improvement, just a stab or jab to buy more votes. What about that Republican red wave in November?
Republicans need to show they have some backbone and stand up for America rather than get into a ridiculous war with the paper tiger Putin and recognize it’s CHINA STUPID. And I’m not talking about going to war to save Tibet or Taiwan. That’s not our fight. Our fight is with America’s corporate elites who have sold the country’s manufacturing base down the river on a boat to China. America is the Walmart of globalism, down on bended knee to the lord PROFIT China with immeasurable costs.
When Silicon Valley designs software and China makes products, what happens when China says, “Sorry we’re closed.” You can have the best architectural plans, but without builders, you’ll need to wrap yourself up in them to stay alive. Anecdotally, when Your Survival Guy’s gas stove broke, I was pretty desperate. What happens when there’s no one around to build stuff when China’s helping other countries?
Action Line: Covid and Biden are soon to be distant memories. Let’s not forget how much cash they burned or how much owners’ equity was lost in the scorched earth economy.
